Carol Mildred Day was born on July 15th, 1919 to Edward Byron Day and Carroll Estelle Cavin. She was the sixth of eight known children. Carol died on September 6th, in 1928 from appendicitis. She is buried in the Rosetta Cemetery located in Wilkinson County, Mississippi.
