Mary Victoria King was born on January 28th, 1876 to Charles B. King and Clarissa Ann Victoria Day in Wilkinson County, Mississippi. She married a Mr. Dawson in 1912 and had a daughter named Wren Dawson in 1914.
She is the sister to my Great-grandfather, and is, herself, my Great-great aunt. Mary was listed as a widow in the 1930 Federal Census where she was listed as the head of the household on Stephenson Buffalo Hwy. She was living with her daughter Wren aged 16 and a roomer, Belvia Donavan.
Mary died on October 14th, 1942 and is buried in the Rosetta Cemetery, Wilkinson County, Mississippi.
