Lee Shelton was born on August 30, 1889 to Albert V. Shelton and Nora Berry. She was one of few children who lived very long. Lee had two brothers who died in their infancy, and a sister who died at the tender age of only 4 years old.
Lee married James Reuben Walker at about the age of 14. They had a child together, Lee J. Walker born on January 21st, 1904. Lee herself lived a very short life, as she died just 7 days after her child was brought into this world, on January 28th, 1904. Lee is buried in the Springdale Cemetery, in Sebree, Webster county, Kentucky.
