Ordered that the Guardianship __________(cannot read)__________ allowed to______. Ordered that the _____________(cannot read)_________to sell the W. half of SW quarter of section No. 11 Township No. 3 Range No 3 (?) East containing 79. (?) acres said land lying in the County of Amite the same belonging to the Estate of Sarah Hendricks (?)said sales of ______having been made that ______of this order was duly published & according to Law.
This day Archibald B. Steel appeared for letters of Admr. on (?) the Estate of Isham Randall, decd. whereupon it is Ordered that Archibald B. Steele & REBECCA RANDALL be appointed administrator on the Estate of Isham Randall, Decd. upon his entering into bond with sufficient security.
This day Archibald B. Steele entered into bond with James McDowell (?) and Stephen Wilkinson his security, and took the oath to qualify him to act as admr. on ISHAM RANDALL's Estate.

Amite CountyBy the Probate Court of said County; Whereas ISHAM RANDALL, deceased late of said County died Intestate as we are informed, having whilst he lived and at the time of his death divers goods, Debts, rights & credits within the state aforesaid and we desiring that the said goods, rights & credits may be well and truly administered converted & disposed of do hereby grant unto Archibald B. Steele & ___a blank space is here___ full power by the terms of these presents to administer the goods & chattels, rights and credits of the said deceased which to him in his life time and at the time of his death did belong to ask _?_ _?_ the same & pay the debts in which the deceased stood bound so far as his said goods rights credits Lands tenements & hereditaments will extend according to their rate and the order of the Law to make a perfect & just (?) inventory of the said goods & chattels rights & creidts & the same to exhibit in the office of the Clerk of this Court at or before the expiration of three months from the date hereof and to render a just account of the said administration when thereunto legally required and the said Archibald B. Amite CountyTo Wit Know all men by these presents that we Archibald B. Steele, James McDowell & Stephen Wilkinson are held & firmly bound unto Van Tramp (?) Crawford, Judge of Probate in and for the County of Amite & his successors in office in the just (?) & full sum of two thousand dollars for which payment well & truly to be made to the Judge of Probate of ours and his successors in office we bind ourselves our heirs Executors & admrs.
Jointly & severally firmly by these presents sealed with our seals & dated this the 16 day of Dec. 1833.The Condition of the above obligation is such that if the said Archibald B. Steele admr. of the goods chattels & credits of ISHAM RANDALL, decd. do make a true & perfect inventory of all & singular the goods chattels & credits of the said decd. which have or shall come to the hands possession or knowledge of the said admr. or into the hands or possession of any other person or persons for him and the same so made (?) to exhibit unto the Probate Court of Amite County when he shall be thereunto required by the said Court & such goods chattels & credits to well & truly administer according to Law and further do make a just (?) & true account of his actings (?) & doings therein when thereto required by the said Court and all the rest of the said goods chattels & credits which shall be found remaining upon the account of said Court shall deliver & pay unto such persons respecting (?) as are entitled to the same by Law and if it shall hereafter appear that any last Will & Testament was made by the deceased & the same be proven in Court & the Excrs. do in such case(?) being required render & deliver up his letters of administration then this obligation to be void else to remain in force & effect

certificate whereof you are to return annexed to an inventory of the
said goods chattels and personal Estate by you appraised in dollars and
cents and in the said inventory you are to set down in a column or columns appropriate (?) to each article the value thereof
