Edwina King was born on June 1st, 1906 in Mississippi to Henry Clay King and Ethel Corine Day. She had three children: Edwin T. King, Kenneth Blaylock, and Mildred Blaylock. Not much is known about Edwina. She did not live close enough to visit, so I never knew this grandmother. I can see my father's face in hers.
She was a dead-end for me until I posted a query at the Mississippi GenConnect board for information on this family and came out with three new cousins, and a ton of relatives! Edwina lived in Wilkinson County, Mississippi - A little place where all of your neighbors know you or know about you. Some of the relatives lived in nearby Amite County, Mississippi.
