Silba Frances Russell was born January 19th, 1841 in Illinois to the proud parents: Daniel Russell & Ellen Henderson. Daniel Russell was the son of Ephriam Russell and Elizabeth Shelton. Elizabeth being the daughter of William Shelton (Sr.) and Hannah Yates - my 5th Great-grandparents. Silba was the 6th child of 10 born to Daniel and Ellen.
Sibby, as she was known, married David Brooks Taylor on November 18th, 1877 in Jefferson County, Illinois. I have 3 children born to them: William H., Barbara Angelina, and Evada Caroline. Silba passed away on February 3th, 1929 in Jefferson County, Illinois.
