This is the family of Sidney Shelton. Sidney was born just shortly after his father died. The above photo is of Sidney with his wife Pernicia Catherine Shelton, daughter of Elias Taylor Shelton and Elizabeth J. Carner, and children: Martha Jane, Nora Francis, Noah Jackson and Roberta Ann. Photo was taken about 1894/5. Cousin Bill Shelton got a copy of the photo from Odell Bradley Puckett. While trying to tweak the image, I discovered that if I darkened the background image, there was a double exposure look to it. You could see another image in the background. I don't know how this happened or what caused it, but I found it interesting.
