Winfield Scott Shelton & Annie Skudmore McMullin were married November 22nd, 1875 in Springfield, Tennessee. Winfield Scott is the son of Lucinda Shelton and the ancestor of my cousin, Vonette Shelton Curtis. Winfield is also the brother to my Albert V. Shelton.
Winfield and Annie had ten children born to them: Naomi, Velmer, Daisy, Zilpha, Dillian, an infant who died, J. Z., Joy, Durward B., and Beatrice. Vonette descends through J. Z.
