My great grandparents lived in Christian County, Kentucky, during the years from at least 1839 until perhaps 1845. My great gr grandfather died in Christian County according to record. I believe there are many descendants there perhaps.

The following information is copied from an old Bible in possession of Mrs. Thelma Thorne of Denver, Colorado, and loaned to a cousin, Mrs. J. Aurene Emry, and later to me on May 20, 1966. It is assumed that the Bible was originally handed down to Benjamin Franklin Thomasson at the death of his mother Elizabeth O. Thomasson.

On the Margin of Jeremiah IV is written: Edward Richardson's Bible the gift of S. K.

Flyleaf at beginning of the New Testament is printed "The New Testement of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ," translated out of the Original Greek; and with the former translations diligently compared and revised by his Majesty's Special Command

My grandfather Edward Green Thomasson was born in 1840 on Dec. 10, in Christian County, Kentucky.

I am very anxious to hear from any descendants or anyone who is interested in this family. Any information welcome on allied families. My father George Franklin Thomasson was born in Appanoose County, Iowa, 2 April 1866.

I have record of some burial places of these families.
