Captain Samuel King is the oldest shown on the GEDCOM sent by Shelley. She sent a printout which shows many sources and details for the family connections. The main source seems to be "Five Lines of (King) Descent" traced by Rufus King Esq of Yonkers, NY, Pedigree of King of Lynn, Essex County, MA 1602-1891.

Samuel was the son of Daniel King Jr who was born 1636 in Salem MA and died abt 1695, and wife Tabitha Walker.
Daniel King Jr was the son of Daniel King Sr b abt 1602 in Watford, Hertfordshire, Egland d 27 May 1672 in Lynn, MA, and Elizabeth Guy.
Daniel's father was Ralph Kinge b 1574 in England and died 1656 in Watford, Hertfordshire, England. Ralph's children were Reb John King born 1597, Samuel, Elizabeth (Manestie), Isaac, Daniel (went to Lynn, MA), Sarah b 1609 m Major Andrew Neale 29 April 1629 at Idelstry, Herts, and Clement born about 1615.
Note that It has been suggested by some writers that this Clement was either the one who lived in Marshfield MA and went to RI or else the father of that Clement.
Shelley Noble's material says that Capt Samuel King and Mehitable had seven sons and 1 daughter, however only four sons are shown. Also, Capt Samuel King married (2) Elizabeth Barton 7-6-1721 and they had 3 sons and 2 daughters, names unknown.
