seven children survived her death.

MEREDITH DAVID KING
Company A, 60th N.C. Infantry.
Born 1840 in Winston, N.C., died 1909 in Columbia;
married 15 Dec. 1897 in Giles County to Elizabeth Burke, who drew WP-9348, born 1860 in Henderson County;
they had three children (including twin girls, age 29 in 1929).

Dates not known;
wounded at Shiloh;
at turn of century was living at Chapel Hill;
known as Pole or Bole King.

ROBERT KING
Company C, 3rd Tennessee Infantry.
Born 1836, died at Chicago, ILL., as prisoner;
son of JOHN A. KING & his wife MARGARET ANN McMINNIS (McManus) KING.
