1717, Apr 4, Chowan Precinct Deeds, Book B1, p. 456 Conclusions agreed upon by and between Gerrard Lynch on behalf of his wife Katherine King, relict of Mr Henry King and Mr. John King, guardian of Michael King, one of the Adm. of the said Henry Kings estate. The said John King being willing to give sixteen pounds to the said Gerrard in consideration of the benefit accruing to the said Katherine's other children etc.

1719/20, Feb 13, Chowan Precinct Deeds, Book F1, p. 127 This Bill bindeth me Michael King of the Precinct of Chowan, Planter are firmly bound unto Robert Bell in the full and just sum of one hundred and fifty pounds Good and Lawful money of Great Britian etc- The condition of the above obligation is such that if the above named Michael King will warrant and defend me Robert Bell as Executor of the last will and testament of Henry Woodnote dec'd and Isabel Fergusons will proved in open court etc. Signed Michael King, Isobell King

1721, Apr 19, Chowan Precinct Deeds, Book F, p. 103 Robert Bell, Michael King and Isabella his wife sold the Hon Charles Eden, Governor of NC, 606 acres on Middle swamp adjoining Charles Eden, Col. Thomas Pollock and Maj. John Plowman.

1723, Feb 9, Bertie Precinct Deeds, Book A, p. 46 Christopher VanLuven sold Michael King 100 acres on Cashoke Creek Swamp adjoing Thomas Bell.

1730, May 30, Bertie Precinct Deeds, Book C, p. 358 Michael King sold Patrick Canaday 100 acres on Wills Quarter Swamp and Beaverdam Swamp.

1734, Feb 10, Bertie Precinct Deeds, Book D, p. 262 Mikel King bought 225 acres on the WS of Cashoke Creek on the Maple Branch adjoining Edward Byrd, Col. Robert West and George Bell.

1736, May 5, Bertie County Deeds, Book E, p. 13 Mikel King bought 250 acres from Edward Byrd at the fork of Maple Branch and John Holbrook at Round Pocosin and Thomas Mitchell.

1742, August Court. Isabell King filed an inventory of the estate of Michael King, deceased. (Note! - This inventory is the only item in the estate file folder of Michael King)

Note that Wilson and Glover included the entire text of this will on page 120 in their book. They also added details about Roger Snell, who was from Perquiman's Co NC, moved to Bertie Co in 1737, where he bought land from Edward Byrd adjoing Michael King's land. In 1742 he sells his land (the year after Michael's death) and goes south with his sons-in-law Michael and Henry King. His will in 1759 mentions his daus Mary King and Ann King and son-inlaw Michael King, John King witnessed this will.

James Castelaw to be guardian to Henry King, Catherine King and Mary King and produced for securities thos Jackson and William Byrd.

bullet1743--On the motion of James Castellaw, Esq. relinquishing his guardianship of Michael King Orphans, to wit, Henry, Catherine and Mary King this court appoints George Bell guardian of said orphans. James Castellaw and Wm Byrd securities
bullet1743--Col Robert West, Roger Snell and Nath Hill are appointed to take out of hands of Isabel Dyal the estate belonging to the orphans of Michael King, deceased, and deliver the same to respective guardians.
