There were a number of patents to land adjoining William in which he is mentioned as the adjoining land owner. These continue up to the apparent time of his death, probably between 1725 and 1728. Because this area was a part of Nansemond County at the time, there are no surviving records, other than land records. The name of his wife is not known. Several of the children of William(15) are shown in Solomons Bible. I have estimated that William(15) was probably born about 1660 and died in 1725.
What I have shown here is all there is. Since this area was still a part of Nansemond County when William died there is no surviving will or estate papers. Three of the four children I have shown for William(15) are found in Solomon's Bible record. The fourth child I have shown, Solomon(151) is speculation on my part and is not proven. This is not the Solomon who had the Bible. When I get to the next generation I will present my thinking for why Solomon(151) is a son, but as I have said, this is speculation. The other three are not. What I am showing will not agree with the findings of others, since they based their information on an Elizabeth City County will. I have based mine on Solomon's Bible record.
