"May God bless those who love us.
And those who do not love us, may He turn their hearts.
And if He does not turn their hearts,
may He turn their ankles so we may know them by their limping
."
- an Irish Blessing

I have been told by my mother that there is Irish in our background. I have yet to find it, but I thought the above Irish Blessing was cute so I added it here for your enjoyment.

Psst! Don't leave yet! There are links at the bottom of the page!

I became involved in my genealogy, of a sorts, when I was still living at home. I was given a bible and found pages where I could list my family's marriages, deaths, etc. so I began asking questions in order to fill in the pages. (I was actually ALLOWED to write in this book !) After marrying, I purchased a family album which had a genealogy chart in it and began filling in the information I already knew, but I eventually put it away. I had children to raise.

I dabbled in my genealogy here and there, but I didn't get really serious until August of 1998. I began my search online and boy did I hit the mother load! Many newly discovered cousins were found, and continue to be found. I met a cousin who had the family all the way back to the 1700's in Virginia! Another one showed up with my paternal lines back to South Carolina and a connection to a French Huguenot family!

That's pretty much how I got my start in genealogy and now I can't seem to tear myself away from the online census records, the message boards, and all the neat genealogy pages that I have found!

Gosh. I have started winning awards for my site!

DISCLAIMER:

I must warn you that not all of my information has documented proof to back it up. ALWAYS RESEARCH THE SOURCES LISTED TO PROVE THE LINES FOR YOURSELF. If no sources are listed, then assume the information has yet to be proven. With the amount of information that I receive on a daily basis, it is difficult for me to prove each piece as I get it. It is all posted here so that we all can research the lines to prove them. I am quite open. If you think I've made a mistake, do let me know, and please provide me with the proof I need to change that information and let others know the who, what, when, where, and why of the change.
THANKS!

Check out my Thank You Page for those researchers (and cousins!) who have helped piece the family together!

My Cousin Connections is a listing of how the cousins fit into my lines, and their own personal brick walls (where listed). Please take a look and see if you can offer some assistance. My own personal brick walls are also posted. All help is greatly appreciated.

This section is ALWAYS under construction.

These surnames represent the main surnames I am looking for, however,
your lines might be found here even if we do not have a match, so take a look!
